Among students it's quite common to translate into English typical Italian expressions or misuse /make up verbs...
Sometimes the mistakes they make are totally awesome...
Here are a few:
-Rome it's a very busy city, but I move fastly because I have the scooter. To have the scooter in Rome it's a HOLY HAND (è una mano santa)!
-(Teacher): I'm scared of spiders. (Ho paura dei ragni)
-(Student): Nooooo! You don't like cars?! (Noooo, non ti piacciono le macchine?!)
-(Student): I don't drink drinks with caffeine.
-(Teacher): Oh, so you don't like coke? (non ti piace la coca cola)
-(Student): No, no. no I love the cock! (no, no, no, amo il pisello!)
-(Student1): How I say "Dilemma"?
-(Student2): Easy, dailemma. True, teacher?
-(Teacher): Yes.
-(Student2): Wow, I azzeck the verb!
These are only samples of what the mind of a student can create...
Sometimes Phil thinks it's all a lost cause, but lately he's been changing his mind: THANK GOD Italian people are not English-friendly, otherwise I would be jobless!!!
See you soon with new sfondons, ehm...sorry...mistakes.
Da soli si possono anche sopportare... ma Letizzia e Filippo, insieme, diventano InGeStiBiLi!!!
